The all-rounder, and the variety most European buyers end up standardising on. Elongated almond shape, beautiful white shell, bright green kernel — ideal for roasting.
Sizes are counted per ounce (28.35 g). “22/24” means 22–24 nuts per ounce — the lower the number, the larger the nut.

Values are our standard commercial specification. Tighter tolerances can be agreed for a specific programme and are confirmed in writing before the first shipment. Aflatoxin limits follow the EU maximum levels for nuts intended for direct human consumption.
What it is
Ahmad Aghaei is longer and thicker than the round types, with a distinctly white shell and a uniformly red-tinged kernel skin. It is the newest of the four main commercial varieties and has expanded quickly because it grades cleanly and travels well. The Turkish equivalent long nut is sold as Uzun.
What it means for your order
This is the variety to specify when consistency matters more than extremes. It is large enough to look good in retail, priced well below Akbari, and available in enough volume to support repeat monthly shipments — which is why it dominates European import programmes.
