Sizes are counted per ounce (28.35 g). “22/24” means 22–24 nuts per ounce — the lower the number, the larger the nut.

Values are our standard commercial specification. Tighter tolerances can be agreed for a specific programme and are confirmed in writing before the first shipment. Aflatoxin limits follow the EU maximum levels for nuts intended for direct human consumption.
What it is
The round type is the most widely planted pistachio in both Iran and Turkey, which is why it is the most price-stable and most available class across the season. Iranian growers call it Fandoghi or Ohadi; in Gaziantep the equivalent small round nut is sold as Antep or Halebi.
What it means for your order
For a buyer, this is the volume decision. Because the nuts are small, one kilogram contains considerably more pieces than a jumbo — which makes it the standard choice for snack packers, mixed-nut blends, and any retail pack sold on price per unit rather than on visual size.
