Your One-Stop Source For Pistachios

The Full Pistachio Range

We do not trade forty commodities. We trade one, in every form it takes — four in-shell varieties, three kernel types, roasted goods, paste and cream, and private label across all of it. One supplier, one specification, one invoice.

How Pistachios Are Sized

In-shell pistachios are sold by count per ounce (28.35 g). A size marked “22/24” means 22 to 24 nuts fit into one ounce. The lower the number, the larger the nut — and, as a rule, the higher the price per kilogram.

Kernel is different. It is graded by wholeness (whole, splits, pieces) and, for green peeled kernel, by depth of colour on a scale from S down to D.

Two practical notes. First, a size range is a tolerance, not a guarantee that every nut is identical — a normal lot carries a small percentage outside the stated band, and that percentage should be written into your contract.

Second, on green peeled kernel, never buy on the grade letter alone. Two suppliers can both call a lot “Grade A” and mean visibly different things. Agree it against a physical sample.
